      <image:caption>Jerry Sun | Managing Partner Jerry was most recently the VP of Technical Operations at Recursion Pharmaceuticals. Before that, he worked on a series of startups, most notably serving as the CIO and CMO of BuildASign.com from 2006-2015. He helped grow the BuildASign.com team from 10 to 300 employees, and oversaw more than 50 developers, product managers, marketing analysts and designers. In 2013, Jerry was honored as a finalist for the Austin IT Executive of the Year award recognizing Central Texas’ top technology professionals. Prior to joining BuildASign.com, Jerry held consulting roles for leading technology companies including Salesforce.com and Hitachi. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Chelsea Staires Sun | Managing Partner Chelsea has worked in multiple corners of startup, tech, and CPG, including as COO of Maggie Louise Confections, Owner of Coterie Market, and Director of People Operations at BuildASign.com, where she helped grow the company, for six years, from 7 people to over 150, nearly $100M in revenue and operations in four countries. For her work with Coterie, she received national press attention and was honored as one of TRIBEZA Magazine’s 10 to Watch of 2015. She has served in multiple non-profit board and committee roles, including for Austin’s Big Medium and The Thinkery. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Davidson College with concentrations in Film &amp; Media and Studio Art. Chelsea is passionate about working with a team, clients, and community whose mission is to do good work with compassion.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Blake Borgeson, PhD | Owner Blake was formerly an internet and biotech entrepreneur and a Nature-published computational biologist, and is now a donor and strategist in AI safety and serves on MIRI's board of directors. Blake previously co-founded BuildASign.com, which has revenues today in the $100Ms, then earned a PhD applying ML to biological problems at UT Austin. He then co-founded Recursion Pharmaceuticals, where he still serves on the board. Recursion has raised over $200M since its 2013 founding, and applies ML to its millions of in-house automated cellular experiments to understand diseases and discover treatments. In 2018 he shifted all his efforts from biotech into AI safety, and his main work today focuses on organizational growth and researcher hiring at MIRI.</image:caption>
